Video problems EQ7
If the videos do not play, then the problem is most likely that the video compresser did not install properly. Reinstalling the video compressor should solve the problem, however if it doesn't the videos can viewed directly from Windows Media Player.
Reinstalling the video compressor
- Put the EQ CD into your CD (DVD) drive. Cancel installation if installation starts up.
- Click START > Computer > right-click your CD (DVD) drive letter name.
- Click Open or Explore. You'll now see all the files and folders on the CD.
- Double-click the TSCC.EXE file. (You may not see the .exe file ending -- the file is an application file)
- This will quickly install the TSCC file. Now try watching the videos again.
Watching the videos from Windows Media player:
- Click START > All Programs > Windows Media Player.
- Right-click on the top menu bar > click File > Open > C > Program files > Electric Quilt Company> EQ7 (or EQ6) > Hlp > Videos.
- Try double-clicking and playing any of the files that end in .avi (video clips).
