How do I add more tools to my toolbar?

This feature is not only nice for those who have low screen resolutions (not allowing all the tools to fit on the toolbar at once), but also for those of you who don’t need all the extra options that EQ7 offers. If you’re doing simple quilts and you know you won’t be adding photos, embellishment or setting thread, then remove those tools from your toolbar list. You can always go back and add them again if you decide you want to use them later.

  1. Click the Customize Toolbar button at the end of the toolbar.
  2. Choose Add/Remove Buttons. When the pop-up menu appears, you’ll notice that the tools that are currently visible on your toolbar have a check next to them.
  3. Click to put a check next to the tools you want to add to your toolbar. Click to uncheck the tools you want to remove from the toolbar.
  4. Click on the worktable, or anywhere outside of the pop-up menu, to close it.
