Tools-RotateBlock The Rotate Block tool rotates blocks 90 degrees with each click of the mouse. You will only notice the block rotation when the block is drawn or colored asymmetrically.

With the Rotate Block tool selected, hover your mouse over the block you wish to rotate. Click once to rotate 90 degrees, twice for 180 degrees, three times for 270 degrees and four times to return to the original setting.

Rotating Blocks Quickly

You can rotate multiple blocks at a time by adding the following key commands.

Using these key commands on some layout styles will not work the same as they do on Horizontal Layouts. You may have to repeat the key commands to achieve the desired goal.

Windows Computers:

  • CTRL+click or CTRL+drag to rotate a block in all spaces at once.
  • ALT+click or ALT+drag to rotate a block in alternating spaces at once.

Mac Computers:

  • Command+click or Command+drag to rotate a block in all spaces at once.
  • Option+click or Option+drag to rotate a block in alternating spaces at once.
