Erase

The Erase Block tool removes blocks already set in your quilt.

The Erase Block tool is available on all layers of any type of quilt.

Click on the block in the quilt you want to remove.
Ctrl + click to remove the blocks in all positions on the worktable.
Ctrl + click to remove the blocks in all positions on the worktable.
Alt + click to remove the blocks in alternating positions on the worktable.
Alt + click to remove the blocks in alternating positions on the worktable.

Notes

The Erase Block tool is not recommended for Custom Set quilts, Layer 2, or Layer 3. In these cases, use the Adjust tool to select your block, then click the Delete button or your keyboard Delete key to remove the block. If you use the Erase Block tool on these layers, it will leave an empty placeholder.

Using Ctrl + click and Alt + click on some layout styles will not work the same as they do on Horizontal/Straight layouts. You may have to repeat the Ctrl + click and Alt + click to achieve the desired goal.
