Error 1310 is usually caused by a problem with the Windows Installer on your computer

This error happens towards the end of the install. Error 1310. Error writing to files 9.0.30729.1 policy. Verify that you have access to that directory.

To resolve this error, please follow the directions below:

  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In the Open box, type msiexec /unreg, and then press ENTER.
  3. Click Start, and then click Run.
  4. In the Open box, type msiexec /regserver, and then press ENTER.
  5. Try to install your EQ7 once again from the CD.
