Install/Uninstall EQStitch

Installing EQStitch

Please note: EQ7 does not need to be installed to install EQStitch. However, your EQ7 (or EQ7 Upgrade) license ID and password are required.

1. Insert the EQStitch CD into your computer.
2. Open File Explorer by pressing Windows Key + E on your keyboard.
3. In the File Explorer window that appears, right click on the CD-ROM drive.
4. In the menu that appears, click Open.
5. Double click on the EQStitch Setup.exe file in the list of files on the CD.
6. In the “EQStitch – InstallShield Wizard” window that appears, follow the on screen directions to install EQStitch.If you are having trouble installing from the CD please contact Tech Support.

Uninstalling EQStitch

Windows 11

1. Right click on the Windows button  in the lower-left of your computer screen.
2. In the menu that appears, click “Apps and Features”.
3. In the list that appears, find “EQStitch” and click the three dot icon to the right.
4. In the list that appears, select “Uninstall”. In the small window that pops up click “Uninstall” again.
5. In the “EQStitch – InstallShield Wizard” window that appears, follow the on-screen directions to uninstall EQStitch.

Windows 10

1. Right click on the Windows button .
2. In the menu that appears, click “Apps and Features”.
3. Click “EQStitch” once to select it.
4. Click the “Uninstall” button that appears under “EQStitch” in the list.
5. In the “EQStitch – InstallShield Wizard” window that appears, follow the on screen directions to uninstall EQStitch.

Windows 8/8.1

1. Right click on the Windows button .
2. In the menu that appears, click “Control Panel”.
3. In the “Control Panel” window that appears, find the the “View By” box at the top right. Change the View to “Large Icons”.
4. Double click “Programs and Features”.
5. In the list of programs installed on the computer, find EQStitch.
6. Click “EQStitch” once to select it.
7. Click the “Uninstall” option in the bar at the top of the program list.
8. In the “EQStitch – InstallShield Wizard” window that appears, follow the on screen directions to uninstall EQStitch.

Windows 7

1. Click on the Start button .
2. In the menu that appears, click “Control Panel”.
3. In the “Control Panel” window that appears, find the the “View By” box at the top right. Change the View to “Large Icons”.
4. Double click “Programs and Features”.
5. In the list of programs installed on the computer, find EQStitch.
6. Click “EQStitch” once to select it.
7. Click the “Uninstall” option in the bar at the top of the program list.
8. In the “EQStitch – InstallShield Wizard” window that appears, follow the on screen directions to uninstall EQStitch.
