If you try to create a new project and get the “Not a valid file name” message even when typing in a filename you know is valid, or if you open a library and get the “No library files found” message, this usually means that EQ8 can no longer find your My EQ8 directory for some reason. Please uninstall and reinstall the program so that EQ8 can locate your My EQ8 directory.
