Using the blocks in an EQ Layout
AccuQuilt GO! Qubes are based on Four Patch (2 x 2) grids. When you have a block that uses a grid other than a Four Patch, you will need to calculate the block size, as it will be different from your Qube size.
When you set up your quilt layout in EQ, the finished block size (Width and Height) under LAYOUT should match the size that aligns with your GO! Qube size and the block’s grid.
For example, the blocks in the Nine Patch Party library are 12″ for a 8″ GO! Qube. However, since all GO! Qubes are proportional, you can use these blocks for any size of GO! Qube. You just have to be sure your blocks are being set into the layout at the size appropriate for your GO! Qube.
Charts for each grid are includes with the download in the EQ Add-on Guide PDF. Check out the PDFs in your My EQ > Documentation folder for examples and more information.
What if I bought the regular GO! dies individually, not the GO! Qube dies?
You can still use the AccuQuilt add-ons. Please use the chart below as a reference.
