Electric Quilt 8EQ8 has over 45 different effects that can be applied to images, including artistic, noise, blur and many more. Start with an image on the worktable. Click Special Effects in the ribbon, and then click the Effects tool in the palette.
The Apply Effects dialog will display. Use the menu at the top of the dialog to choose an affect. Each effect works differently and has its own controls for making adjustment to that effect. You can always preview the results of the effect in the dialog. To see the change on the worktable, click the Preview button. If you want to save the image, click the Add to Sketchbook button.
Be aware that if you’re using large, high-resolution images, your project file will become large and EQ8 could run more slowly.
