The whole drawing board gets saved when you are drawing motifs. So if you draw a small apple in the center of the drawing board, all of the white space surrounding it gets saved with the block. The “size” will be the width and height of the surrounding white space, not the size of your apple motif.
For greater control of the motif size when printing:
- Draw the motifs as large as possible inside the drawing board.
- But make certain all of your block stays within the drawing square boundary, and no part of the block extends beyond it. Blocks that have elements extending beyond the block edge or motif edge can cause problems.
