Electric Quilt 8Use the Set Block tool to place blocks from the Project Sketchbook to the quilt.
The Set Block tool is available on all layers of any type of quilt.
There are three types of blocks that can be added to your Project Sketchbook: Blocks, Motifs, and Stencils.
Click the tabs, just above the blocks in the palette, to see the different types.
- Blocks can be set on Layers 1 and 2. They may also be set on Layer 3, but they will act as stencils.
- Motifs should only be set on Layers 2 and 3.
- Stencils should not be set on Layer 1. Any block set on Layer 3 will automatically draw as a stencil.
