WebP images are often used on websites because they can help make the website faster. However, WebP images will not import into EQ8.

The following formats can be imported into EQ8:

  • Bitmap (.bmp)
  • GIF (.gif)
  • JPEG (.jpg)
  • PNG (.png)
  • TIFF (.tif)

There are multiple free online converters that will save WebP images as Bitmap (.bmp), GIF (.gif), JPEG (.jpg), PNG (.png), or TIFF (.tif).

Once converted to an accepted file type, the image can be imported as normal.
